Privacy Policy

Binteo respects intellectual property rights and expects all users to do the same. This policy explains how copyright is handled on our platform.

1. CONTENT OWNERSHIP

• Creators retain full copyright ownership of original content they upload to Binteo.
• By uploading, creators grant Binteo a limited, non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute content on the platform only.
• Binteo does not claim copyright over user-generated content.

2. ORIGINAL CONTENT REQUIREMENT

Binteo strictly requires ALL uploaded content to be original:

• ALLOWED: Content you personally created from scratch.
• ALLOWED: Content where you have full written permission from the copyright holder.
• ALLOWED: Content using properly licensed music, images, or clips (Binteo library or licensed sources).
• NOT ALLOWED: Re-uploading your own videos from YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, or any other platform.
• NOT ALLOWED: Downloading and re-uploading other creators' videos.
• NOT ALLOWED: Using Bollywood, Hollywood, or regional film songs without proper music license.
• NOT ALLOWED: Screen recordings of other apps, games, or streaming platforms.

3. WHAT COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT MEANS

• Using someone else's video, music, image, or creative work without permission = Copyright Infringement.
• Giving credit does NOT automatically give you the right to use others' content.
• Content being publicly available online does NOT mean it is free to use.
• Monetizing others' content without permission is a serious legal violation.

4. LICENSED MUSIC AND AUDIO

• Binteo provides a library of royalty-free music and sound effects — always safe to use.
• Popular Bollywood, Hollywood, or regional film songs require proper license to use.
• Traditional or folk music — check if it is in public domain before using.
• Creators are fully responsible for ensuring they have rights to all audio in their videos.

5. COPYRIGHT COMPLAINT PROCESS

5.1 Filing a Complaint

• If your copyrighted content appears on Binteo without permission, email: legal@binteo.in
• Include: Your full name, contact details, description of the copyrighted work, URL of infringing content, and a statement that you are the copyright owner or authorized representative.

5.2 After a Complaint is Filed

• Binteo reviews complaints within 5–7 business days.
• If valid, the content is removed immediately and the uploader is notified.
• The uploader may receive a copyright strike on their account.

6. COPYRIGHT STRIKES SYSTEM

Binteo operates a 3-strike system:

• Strike 1: Warning issued. Content removed. Monetization suspended for 7 days.
• Strike 2: Uploading restricted for 30 days. Monetization suspended for 60 days.
• Strike 3: Permanent account termination. All pending earnings forfeited.
• Strikes expire after 90 days of good standing with no further violations.

7. COUNTER-NOTIFICATION

• If you believe content was removed incorrectly, email: legal@binteo.in
• Include: your name, content description, and reason why removal was a mistake.
• If counter-notification is accepted, content will be restored within 14 days.

8. FAIR USE

• Fair use allows limited use of copyrighted material for commentary, criticism, education, or parody.
• Fair use is NOT a blanket permission to use others' content freely.
• Commentary, review, or parody must add substantial original value.
• When in doubt — do NOT use it.

9. REPEAT INFRINGERS

Accounts of repeat copyright infringers will be permanently terminated regardless of the number of strikes accumulated.
